Lexus Check-in for Charity

In early December 2012 Lexus launched a Facebook app called Lexus Check-in for Charity, a Facebook promotion that donates ten dollars to the Boys & Girls Club America for each check-in on Facebook or Foursquare. When users check in to a Lexus dealership, donations are doubled for each check-in for the entire day.

The first fundraising goal was $100'000, but they reached it so quickly, that on the 19th December Lexus launched a second row of $100'000 goal, which was reached easily.

This kind of Check-in for Charity program is clever, because it brings people at a Lexus dealership, as they check-in their social network hears about Lexus and their charity program.
