The Swiss Salvation Army @ Eurovision 2013

on The Salvation Army   Tags: , , ,

The Salvation Army of Switzerland was founded under the motto "Soup, Soap and Salvation" in the 19th century. It's an international movement, and it's an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church.

Despite they are very active on the battlefield of charity, their communication could maybe feel  unadequate to enroll younger recruits.

That's the old ways:

The change already started in 2011 when the movement, together with advertising agency WIRZ, started singing rock songs instead of classical folk melodies.

This year, the Swiss Salvation Army wants to go one step further: to compete in the Eurovision song contest 2013 for Switzerland with a rock band!

Will you vote for them in May?
